GRiT

GRiT

GRiT (Girls Riding Together) is a national program of NICA that recognizes the need to get more girls on bikes. GRiT’s goal is to empower female student-athlete’s to make their mark, on or off the bike. Awesome fact: Montana Interscholastic Cycling League had the highest percentage of female-student athletes in the country, with 30.5% female participation. Way to move the needle Montana!

  • GRiT is at the Races! Checkout the GRiT Tent at each race in the infield.
  • GRiT does fun events just for girl riders! Look for upcoming announcements on GRiT events for the Missoula Mammoths season.
  • GRiT needs people like YOU! You do not have to be an advanced rider to be a coach. And if biking or coaching isn’t your thing, there are lots of other volunteer opportunities- especially at the races!

Come ride with the Missoula Mammoths GRiT team! Interested in coaching or volunteering? Reach out to GRiT Coordinator, Sarah Millar, via our Contact Us page– just write “I want to learn more about GRiT!” on the form, and we’ll get back to you soon.
